How should I take Clarinex?
- Take Clarinex exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

- Take each dose with a full glass (8 ounces) of water.
- Place the disintegrating tablets (Clarinex Reditabs) on your tongue and allow them to dissolve. Swallow them with or without water.
- Take the disintegrating tablets immediately after removing the foil cover. Don’t save them for later.
- Clarinex can be taken with or without food.
- It is usually taken once a day.
- Never take more than the recommended dose. If symptoms persist, contact your doctor.
- Store Clarinex at room temperature, away from moisture and excessive heat. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 86°F (30°C).
What happens if I forget to take a dose?
- Take the dose as soon as you remember.
- If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your regular time.
- Do not double the dose.
